He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners from 1986 to 1996. As a player, he was listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) and 225 pounds (102 kg); he threw and batted right-handed.
Bosio has served as a pitching coach in MLB for the Brewers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Chicago Cubs
